Midwest Clinic
An International Band and Orchestra Conference
December 15-19, 2010
Hebron High School Wind Symphony
McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois
The Wind Symphony Concert in Chicago was absolutely fabulous! The students received so many well-deserved accolades for their performance. Mr. Sealy continues to receive calls and emails about how wonderful they were and how well they represented Hebron High School. In addition to all the rehearsals, the students had the opportunity to enjoy performances of the President's Own Marine Band, the Chicago Symphony, Blue Man Group and Wicked.
Thanks to Mr. Buckels, HHS Assistant Principal, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Cooley, and to all the families that were able to travel to Chicago to enjoy the concert. Special thanks to the chaperones for all their hard work on the trip: Richard Aron, Nancy Buttyan, Leanna Cannon, Trish Cunningham, Sharon Harrington, Gigi Jacob, Robert Lomax and Gay Willingham. Undying gratitude goes out to Lyle Biddinger and Robert Carroll for all their efforts working through the trailer and truck issues, both during and after the trip. Thanks also to the two 'roadies' that provided invaluable assistance, Alex Washington and Hebron graduate Nathan Ewing.

The Texas 5A State Honor Band, with directors Scott Baldwin, Mason Daffinee, Luis Saldana,
Andy Sealy, Rodney Klett, Tom Bennett, Bill Watson, and guest artist William Scott Wollett.
The CITY...

Chicago!

T-MONEY!!

Beautiful, but COLD!

Chaperones helped keep our students safe and organized during the trip.

Who minds the cold Chicago weather? Not these smiling faces - they've got their hot Ghirardelli's chocolate!

"Falling ice? Wait! No one told us to pack hard hats!"

See that white stuff? That's called SNOW.
