The 2011 TMEA Convention was a huge success!! As students and parents of the Hebron Band, we often don't realize that we are among true greatness on a day to day basis. The Texas Music Educators Association convention and the performance by the Hebron Wind Symphony as the Texas 5A Honor Band was an incredible testament of just how outstanding Mr. Sealy, the entire staff, and all of the Hebron Band truly is. What an honor to witness first-hand the many accolades given to the Wind Symphony performers and to Mr. Sealy. People thronged to the reception area afterward to congratulate their efforts, and it was a thrilling experience to be part of history in the making. And of course the 9 students that made All-State were fabulous in their respective performances as well, getting the opportunity to spend time with students within our district and all of the state. Everyone should be extremely proud to be part of the Hebron High School Band program!
