Andy Sealy is the Director of Bands at Hebron High School in Carrolton, Texas. Hebron High School is a part of the Lewisville Independent School District and serves students from the communities of Carrollton, Lewisville, Frisco, and Plano. The Hebron High School Band is a consistent UIL Sweepstakes and "Best in Class" award winner. The Hebron High School Marching Band has earned three appearances at the UIL Texas State Marching Contest; including a Class 5A Finalist selection in 2008. The Hebron High School Wind Symphony was recognized as a National Winner in the National Wind Band Honors Mark of Excellence program for 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.

Andy graduated with degrees from Texas Tech University and began his teaching career as Middle School Band Director and High School Assistant Director in Iraan, Texas. Later he was an Assistant Band Director and Junior High Band Director in Monahans, Texas. Prior to coming to the metroplex Andy served as Director of Bands at Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas and at Randall High School in Amarillo, Texas.

Andy maintains professional affiliations with the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity, Texas Music Adjudicators Association, the International Clarinet Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Andy's wife Karen is the Supervisor of Secondary Mathematics for the Lewisville Independent School District and they reside in Frisco.

Luis Saldaña is Associate Director of Bands for the Hebron High School Band in Carrollton, TX. He is responsible for conducting the Symphonic Band, managing the private lesson program and coordinating visual instruction for the Hebron HS marching band.

Luis graduated from the University of North Texas with a BM in Music Education and was a member of the euphonium studio under Dr. Brian L. Bowman. During his academic career at UNT, he had the privilege to perform in masterclasses with euphonium artists such as Mr. Steven Mead, Dr. Mitsuru Saito, Dr. Neal Corwell, Dr. Brian Meixner and Dr. Matt Tropman. He was a member of the UNT Symphonic and Concert Bands under the direction of Mr. Dennis Fisher and Dr. Nick Williams. During the 2002 and 2003 seasons, he served on the visual staff for the UNT Green Brigade Marching Band. In addition to the Green Brigade, he was also a member of the visual staff from 2002-2004 for the Marcus High School Band in Flower Mound, Texas. Luis has also taught private lessons for the Central Junior High School, Marcus High School and Richland High School Bands in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In 2004, Luis was a semifinalist in the Artist Division of the Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival held at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake, Michigan.

An alumnus of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps (Santa Clara, CA), Luis was a member of the euphonium section in 1999, 2000 and 2002 and served as Drum Major for the 2003 season. He has taught at the University of Texas at Arlington Drum Major Camp and served as a visual consultant for the Coronado High School Band (El Paso, TX) and the John B. Alexander High School Band (Laredo, TX). Luis continues to be an active marching band and leadership clinician, residing in McKinney, Texas with his wife Kara and their two dogs, Mira and Dudley.

scott baldwin

Scott Baldwin is the Percussion Coordinator/Assistant Band Director for the Hebron HS Cluster (Arbor Creek MS, Creek Valley MS, Killian MS and Hebron HS) in Carrollton, TX. He received a BM and MAT in Music Education from the University of Louisville, and a MM in Percussion Performance from the University of Florida. He marched with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps ('98), and Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps ('95-'97).

In the Hebron Cluster he coordinates all activities percussion related from grades 6-12 including the marching percussion through the concert percussion ensembles. The group has performed with various artists such as; Gregg Bissonette, Steve Smith, Lalo Davila, Tommy Igoe, and Will Kennedy.

His professional experience includes performances with the Kentucky Opera, Louisville Orchestra, Music Theatre of Louisville, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Central Florida Symphony Orchestra, and the Gainesville (FL) Chamber and Symphony Orchestras.

He is an active clinician, adjudicator, and performer throughout the country. His professional affiliations include the Percussive Arts Society, TMEA, and Phi Mu Alpha Professional Music Fraternity. Mr. Baldwin is an educational endorser for Pro Mark Sticks and Mallets and Pearl Drums.

mason daffinee

MasonDaffinee

Mason Daffinee, a native of Binghamton, New York, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College in 2002. His musical career began early and includes performances with the Spectrum Drum and Bugle Corps from Owego, New York (1995-1998) and the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps from Rockford, Illinois (1999-2002). As a member of the Phantom Regiment contra line Mason was the 2002 Tuba Solo and Ensemble Contest Gold Medalist and 2002 Member of the Year.

Upon graduation Mr. Daffinee toured North America and Japan with the Tony Award-Winning Broadway show Blast! (2003). After leaving the tour he taught for two years in Vestal, New York where his teaching responsibilities included beginner, middle school, and high school marching band. In addition to instrumental instruction Mason taught two competitive Winterguards, one of which was named New York State Champion in 2005. In 2006 Mr. Daffinee was also named Vestal Middle School Teacher of the Year. From 2007-2009 Mr. Daffinee taught at Bowie Middle School in Irving Tx. Since 2005 Mr. Daffinee has worked with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps as a Brass Instructor. Mason resides in Carrollton, Texas with his wife Jennifer.

MikeSloan

Mike Sloan is recognized as one of the top visual designers/instructors in the marching activity. He was the Visual Coordinator for Winston Churchill High School for the past 11 years where he was the drill designer and choreographer for the marching band, winter guard and winter drum line. While at Winston Churchill High School, his program won over 13 WGI Regionals in both Scholastic Open and World Class.

Mr. Sloan started his marching career in 1981 with the Phantom Regiment Cadets at the age of 9. As a member of the Cadet Corps, he performed as a lead baritone player and won the 1985 CCI Individual competition on Baritone. The Phantom Regiment Cadets won 5 CCI Championships during his time with the corps. He moved up to Regiment in 1986 when he was just 13 years old and played Baritone. In 1987 and 1988, he served as the Asst. Drum Major and Co-Drum Major respectively. As a member of the Blue Devils Color Guard, he earned "Rifle of the Year" and "Rookie of the Year".

Mr. Sloan has worked with the Phantom Regiment, Blue Stars, Velvet Knights and Blue Knights, as a writer/designer and consultant through the years. In 2007 and 2008, he was a visual designer and the Color Guard Caption Head for the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps before resigning after the 2008 season. In 2010, Mike served as a Visual Consultant for the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps and was responsible for many of the rewrites for the Corps.

Mr. Sloan is the owner of CONCEPT DESIGNS, a marching band, winter guard, winter drumline consulting company that he established in 2003. Each year, he writes drill for numerous top band programs in Texas and across the country. He has designed and consulted for many of the top marching bands as well as winter guards including, Richland High School, Winston Churchill High School, Westlake High School and Ronald Reagan High School. Concept Designs services range from Program Consultation, Programming, Drill Design, Staging, Uniform design (band, guard, drumline) flag designs, choreography, adjudication, and clinics.

Mr. Sloan has been married to his wife Venessa Sloan for 11 years and has two boys, Jordan and Cameron.
